Diagnosing WooCommerce Plugin

If you’re experiencing issues correctly applying Loopz gift cards to a cart in your WooCommerce store, the likely cause is a conflict with an installed plugin on your Wordpress site.

Disable plugins

Since the most likely candidate for issues is a plugin compatibility issue, we recommend you deactivate your WooCommerce add-on plugins one-by-one to see which one, when disabled, remedies the issue. 

We recommend you do this either:

  • On a staging website (if you have one)

  • Enable maintenance mode on your store for a few minutes

  • Methodically and quickly!

Once you've identified the root cause, contact us with exact details of the plugin name and version installed and any extra information that might be useful, like how the plugin is configured etc…

If you're not able to identify the plugin via this method, continue reading.

Collect diagnostics

Enable "Diagnostics mode" in the Loopz Gift Cards plugin:

Once the diagnostics mode is enabled, a list of installed plugins will be shown on the settings page. Copy and send us this list of installed plugins.

Some diagnostics information is also shown at the bottom of your cart page when applying a gift card to the cart. You can send us this information as well to help us investigate the issue.
