Connect an Extension

Extensions allow you to connect e-commerce platforms to your gift card program to enable redemption of gift cards on those connected platforms. Once an extension is connected, a sync is started between the connected platform and your gift card program. When the sync is completed, all gift cards in your program will be redeemable in the checkout of the connected platform.

When a gift card is redeemed in the checkout of a connected platform, the balance of the gift card is updated to reflect the redeemed amount. If an order is refunded in the connected platform for which a gift card was used, the gift card’s balance will be refunded with the original redeemed amount for the order.

When a new gift card is sold in your program, the new card’s details will be synced automatically to the connected platform as well.
